The vote to leave the European Union has the potential for unintended consequences to the operations of London & Partners.

From traditionally growing the London economy through successful Investment attraction activities, the focus of the Investment team needs to now switch to safeguarding and adding value to existing investors, especially those in sectors which may be sensitive to political changes and who also may be reviewing the appropriateness of London as a base for their operations.

Responding to this challenge has led to the creation of a “Taskforce” comprising of the three geographical teams with a remit to identify “at risk” companies and sectors in the London economy and take steps to engage more closely with them with a view to providing additional value and great visibility of business support

In equipping them for this new set of challenges, London & Partners wish to develop a training and capability intervention centred upon the development of effective Account Management skills for the team, delivered in a short, but highly focussed programme, which can then be adapted to equip other Account management teams across the Agency.

“When we needed a bespoke, tailor-made account management training, Gareth was able to grasp the challenges and issues that we were facing and devise and deliver a top class programme for our whole team”
