City of Cardiff, as the leading economic driver of South Wales was under-performing in terms of investment attraction, despite years of heavy investment.
The decision was taken to establish a City Marketing Company to promote the whole City Region as an enterprise zone.
Cardiff and Co was an innovative Public/private sector response to both galvanising the business population of Cardiff to promote the City as well as developing a focussed City proposition that would resonate with the target business sectors of the city.<br><br><br>
As a result of this initiative, the Welsh Government and Cardiff City Council have developed the UK’s first Enterprise Zone dedicated to Financial Services.
